Built by a Dad.
Made for Every Parent.
The story behind Dudela — and why parenting is better when you do it together.

Our Story
Born from Late-Night Feedings & a Dad Who Wanted to Do More
When our second son arrived, my wife was exclusively breastfeeding — waking up multiple times every night to feed our baby. I felt powerless. She was carrying the weight, and I wanted to do something — anything — to lighten her load.
So I built Dudela. A simple app to track feedings, diapers, sleep, and more — so I could own every task that didn't require breastfeeding. If she was feeding, I was logging, changing, soothing, and planning ahead.
That's what Dudela is about: finding every opportunity to be there and contribute however you can.
What Makes Us Different
More Than a Baby Tracker
Most baby apps stop at logging diapers and feedings. Dudela goes further because it was built from a real place — a parent who felt the emotional weight of early parenthood and wanted to change it.
A Real Story, Not a Startup Pitch
Dudela wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born at 3 a.m. during a feeding, by a dad who wanted to carry more of the load. That authenticity shapes every feature we build.
Mental Health Built In, Not Bolted On
Postpartum depression affects 1 in 5 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers. Dudela's mental health features are guided by the social worker behind the builder — his wife, who specializes in mental health. From self-assessments based on the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale to wellness checklists, coping tools, and crisis resources — these aren't afterthoughts. They're informed by real clinical expertise, because your wellbeing matters as much as your baby's.
For Every Family
Inspired by a Dude. Designed for Everyone.
Dudela was born from one dad's desire to be more involved, but the app is for every parent and every family. Two moms, two dads, single parents, co-parents, grandparents helping out — if you're caring for a baby, Dudela is for you.
The name comes from “a doula for dudes,” but the mission is universal: make it easier for anyone who wants to share the load and be present in those irreplaceable early moments.
